Whitechapel in London’s East End is a vibrant, multi-cultural district full of cobblestone alleys, trendy exhibitions and discount fashion. Famously known for The Wash Houses building in Old Castle Street which housed the first public baths in London. The Prince Consort (Prince Albert) was involved in the project and even laid the foundation stone himself. The baths were designed by Price Pritchard Baly and opened in 1847. They were a pioneering facility which helped to make bathing more accessible to the public.
We developed our Whitechapel scent of Narcissus and Waterlily with this in mind. It gives off a soft, lineny smell, fresh & clean. It’s a scent reminiscent of how you feel when you’re wrapped in a freshly washed towel after a good long soak in the bath.
